IMSTAR received a Seal of Excellence from the European Commission, as the institution managing Horizon 2020, the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation 2014-2020, for its project CECAD: A novel Blood test by Cell imaging for Early Cancer Assisted Detection.
The aim of the TumorScan test, that integrates disruptive automation devices and Intelligent Software technology for a new single tumor marker, is to improve very early stage cancer detection, avoiding invasive biopsies or expensive, unnecessary complementary tests.
