AfAQap, for French Association for Quality Assurance in Pathological Anatomy and Cytology (PAC) in English, is the organization that allows pathologists to regularly evaluate and improve the quality of their practices in the fields of diagnosis, techniques, and laboratory organization.
IMSTAR Dx has been working in collaboration with the AFAQAP since 2019, to help them in their evaluation and labeling quality assessment techniques for various markers, the most prominent at the moment being the KI-67 index, used for breast cancer and NETs (Neuro Endocrinal Tumors).
